“Overseas Chinesecare about rural areas -- Bulid dream together”, 2022 Rural Revitalization Overseas Chinese of Hunan meeting was held in Xiangjia Village, Longhui County, Shaoyang City. The conference awarded 20 bases including Lianhua Rural Revitalization Industrial Park in Yuelu District of Changsha City as “Hunan demonstration base for Overseas Chinese to help rural revitalization”.

In 2021, Hunan Overseas Chinese Federation carried out the work of promoting rural revitalization in the whole province. With the foundation as the starting point, it gathered the heart and strength of overseas Chinese, integrated resources and industries, and established the first batch of “Hunan demonstration base for Overseas Chinese to help rural revitalization”.

Sun Minsheng, Party secretary of HunanOverseas Chinese Federation, pointed out that in recent years, many Hunan overseas Chinese take the initiative to integrate into rural revitalization, promote the return of overseas intelligence, capital return, resources return to the hometown, based on the advantages of local resources, develop characteristic economy, and create a number of achievements of landmark with local identification and overseas Chinese display degree.

Li Renyin, a member of theparty group, deputy director and first-class inspector of the Provincial Rural Revitalization Bureau, said that the overseas Chinese community helped Hunan’s rural revitalization work achieve considerable development through donations, industrial and educational assistance, showing a strong power.

Liu Shaojun, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and expert of Special Expert Committee of Overseas Chinese Federation, Zhuang Qining, vice chairman of Overseas Chinese Federation and president of Overseas Chinese Business Association, Wang Yonghong and Yang Boli, leaders of Shaoyang City, attended the meeting.
