During the seminar, Sun Minsheng, Party secretary of Hunan Overseas Chinese Federation, led to learn from the contents of the report of the 20th CPC National Congress, Li Zuyuan, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Federation, Zhang Xin, Mao Binghua, Vice Chairman of the Federation, and the participating cadres all shared their learning experience based on their own practice and work.

Li Zuyuan said that the 20th CPC National Congress is a very important congress held at a critical moment in the march towards the second centenary goal. The report provided a comprehensive summary of the work done since the 19th CPC National Congress, which has further strengthened the belief of overseas Chinese to followthe Party, enhanced the confidence of hard work. With the theme of studying and propagating the spirits of the 20th CPC National Congress, the Federation will vigorously publicize the historical achievements made by the Party and the people under its leadership, the advantages of China's system, and the adherence to the People first theory, so as to further reinforced the ideological guidance tothe overseas Chinese.

Sun Minsheng pointed out that the Party group of Hunan Overseas Chinese Federation firmly support Comrade Xi Jinping's report at the 20th CPC National Congress. The report clearly defines what banner to hold, what road to take and what mental state to continue to advance in the future. All cadres and staff of the Federation should learn and understand the spiritual essence, use the spiritsof 20th CPC National Congress to unify their thoughts, hold fast to the "Two Upholds", and show the absolute loyalty of overseas Chinese federation to the Party through practical actions. We should preach the spirits of the 20th CPC National Congress to the overseas Chinese community, and unite the masses of overseas Chinese to listen to and follow the Party.

Sun Minsheng said that we should adhere to the guidance of party constructionand to the People first theory, safeguard the fundamental rights and interests of returned overseas Chinese and the family members of overseas Chinese, and serve overseas Chinese wholeheartedly. We should also adhere to high-quality development, put the work of the overseas Chinese Federation into the overall work of the Party committee and of the government, to safe development, establish the overall national security concept, to protect the survival and development of overseas Chinese abroad.
