Longhui ratooning rice yield hits new record in Hunan

The photo, taken on November 11, shows agricultural technicians conducting yield monitoring of ratooning rice at the site of a high-yield ratooning rice demonstration project in Leifeng Village, Yangguao Town, Longhui County. The yield of the project--Yongyou 4949 ratooning rice came to 547.87 kg per mu in the test fields, and that of the first season rice stood at 830.8 kg per mu. The yield of the first season rice and ratooning rice reached 1,378.67 kg per mu, hitting a record high in Hunan Province.
