Changde High-speed Railway Station Completes Construction

On December 14, the newly-built south wing building of the Changde Station on the Chongqing-Xiamen High-speed Railway was completed and made its debut. Changde Station, built by the China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd., completed construction on the same day. It marked that all of Hunan's 13 cities and 1 prefecture will soon be connected with high-speed rail. This station is the largest high-speed railway station under construction in Hunan Province, with a building area of about 60,000 square meters, 9 platforms and 20 tracks. Changde Station is constructed with the design concept of "peach blossoms in full bloom, economic boom in Changde".  The elements of peach blossoms can be seen on the facade curtain wall, the ceiling of the waiting hall, and the elevated floor.
