Internet Yuelu Summit 2023 Opens in Changsha

The Internet Yuelu Summit 2023 commenced in Changsha on the morning of June 19, 2023. Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, addressed the opening ceremony. Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of the People's Government of Hunan Province, presided over the opening ceremony.

Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee; provincial leaders Li Dianxun, Qin Guowen, and Zhou Haibing; and, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Liu Jingnan, Chen Xiaohong, and Bai Lianyang, were present.

On June 19, the Internet Yuelu Summit 2023 was unveiled in Changsha.

The summit was themed "AI-Empowered Xiangjiang New Area, Evolving in the Era of Digital Economy". It invited experts and scholars, elites, and entrepreneurs of internet-related industries to hold theme forums on the upper, middle, and lower industrial chains of digital economy development, highlighting sci-tech finance, sci-tech innovation, intelligent manufacturing, new generation information technology, new materials and other fields. They exchanged ideas on the new trends in the development of the Internet industry and worked towards developing a better blueprint for the digital economy.

An "Initiative on the Return of Hunan Entrepreneurs" and a "White Paper on the Impact of the Internet Yuelu Summit" were released at the opening ceremony. Internet industry leaders such as Ant Group Chairman and CEO Eric Xiandong Jing, 58.com Inc. CEO Yao Jinbo, iFLYTEK Chairman Liu Qingfeng, Huawei Senior Vice President Yang Weijun, and Wondershare Chairman and President Wu Taibing delivered keynote speeches or attended.
