Yiyang in central China's Hunan Province is known as the northwestern gate of the provincial capital Changsha, due to its convenient transportation. The city is abundant in both natural and cultural resources. It's praised as one of the "most livable cities," one of "China's green ecology cities" and a "national forest city." In addition, Yiyang is home to the Anhua Ancient Tea-horse Road, Taohuajiang Scenic Area, South Dongting Lake Wetland and Tianyi Muguo Wood Culture Museum. It also abounds in freshwater fish, rice, reeds, bamboo, and dark tea.
