Canola flowers bloom in Tongdao

Now nearly 1,000 mu (about 66 ha.) of canola flowers are in full bloom along the banks of the Boyang River in Tongdao Dong Autonomous County, Hunan Province. The vibrant rural spring view attracts many tourists.

In recent years, the county has implemented projects to raise production capability of oil plants and encouraged farmers to plant a large area of canola during the winter fallow period, so as to boost rural revitalization.
