Staff members busy preparing for vegetable seedling cultivation in early spring

On February 6, a staff member of the Matouling Vegetable Science and Technology Demonstration Park of the Chenzhou Institute of Agricultural Sciences, worked on the farmland for vegetable planting in Matouling Village, Xujiadong Town, Suxian District, Chenzhou. The park, as a test station of the provincial vegetable industry system in southern Hunan, is responsible for providing seedling scientific research and technical support, and seedling supply for vegetable plantations and farmers in Chenzhou City. Staff members ramped up production as soon as they went back to work after the Spring Festival holiday, to prepare for the upcoming vegetable growing season. More than 50,000 vegetable seedlings such as early spring peppers and eggplants grow promisingly, which can meet the seedling needs of more than 30 vegetable plantations in the city.
