Hunan 9 villages on the list of national special industries village

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently announced the list of villages with national rural specialty industry output value of over 100 million yuan in 2022, and nine villages in our province are on the list, including Beixi Village in Sunfeng Town, Linwu County in Chenzhou City, etc.

Beixi Village is mainly engaged in planting industry. Since 1980s, the village began to plant taro according to local conditions. After more than 30 years of development, almost every household in Beixi Village has planted taro, which has not only made more than 3,000 people in the village rich, but also made Beixi Village a nationally known as "A land of taro".

These following villages were also selected as the village with a national rural industry output value of more than 100 million yuan, which are Niujiao Mountain Village in MorongTown, Xiangfeng Village in Changsha County, Biquan Village in Xiangtan County, Donghusi Village in Hengyang County, Lihua Village in Hengdong County, Wenyi New Village in Xiangyin County, Tongxing Village in Dingcheng District, DuishangVillage in Suxian District.
