On March 22, a research symposium on economic and scientific work of the China Overseas Chinese Federation(the third area) was held in Changsha. Lian Xiaomin, member of the party group and vice chairman of the China Overseas Chinese Federation, attended and delivered a speech, and Qi Degui, vice minister of the economic science and technology department of the China Overseas Chinese Federation, presided over the meeting. Sun Minsheng, secretary of the party group of the Hunan Overseas Chinese Federation, Chen Jieying, secretary of the party Group and chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Overseas Chinese Federation and representatives of some of the sister provinces and cities attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Overseas Chinese Federation of Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xiamen discussed and exchanged the main practices, experiences, difficulties and suggestions in attracting investment, attracting talents and wisdom, "The Belt and Road Initiative", expanding contacts with overseas industrial and technological associations, serving overseas Chinese businessmen and enterprises, and innovation and entrepreneurship of new overseas Chinese.

After the meeting, the nine provinces and cities also investigated the overseas Chinese enterprises Hunan Renhe Environment Co., and the China V-Valley·Malangshan Video Creative Park.
