"She" Comes to Help Global R&D – International Observation Group Changsha Tour

The "She" Comes to Help Global R&D – International Observation Group Changsha Tour was officially launched on October 30, 2023. The group consisted of 9 foreign female representatives from different countries and professions, including Brazil, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Focus on engineering machinery, intelligent connection network, new energy, and other fields, they will visit workshops, enterprises, and projects front line around Changsha for inspection and communication. This aimed to learn about the current development of Changsha women in science and innovation sector, contributing to helping Changsha attract international talents and resources, and building itself into a global research and development center.

The "She" Comes to Help Global R&D – International Observation Group Changsha Tour kicked off on October 30, 2023.

Huang Fang, secretary of the CPC Leadership Group and president of the Hunan Women's Federation, noted that Hunan has held four consecutive women's innovation and entrepreneurship competitions to better play the role of female talents in the field of science and technology. The events cover farming and breeding, sci-tech innovation, and artificial intelligence, with a large number of representative female talents emerging. She expected that through the activities, the "international observers" could tour around Hunan, pay more attention to the majority of woman workers in science and technology, and share good stories about Hunan woman workers in sci-tech sector.

The tour will last for 4 days and a research symposium will be held then when the activities finish. The attendees will explore how to further strengthen the cooperation between Changsha and global scientific research institutions, and advance the transformation and application of scientific research results.
