A Changsha delegation led by Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee visited the Philippines from November 5 to 6. They came to meet with local politicians, conduct economic and trade promotion activities, and visit representatives of Hunan-born entrepreneurs, so as to strengthen economic and trade cooperation, promote people-to-people exchanges, and elevate friendly subnational exchanges between China and the Philippines to a new level.

In addition, the delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines. They had in-depth discussions with Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian on deepening the exchanges and cooperation between Changsha and the Philippines in aspects such as industrial development, economy and trade, and service matchmaking.
