The Promotion Conference for Changsha Open Economy and National Import Trade Promotion Innovation Demonstration Zone took place in Shanghai on November 5 during the ongoing 6th China International Import Expo. The event was sponsored by the Changsha Municipal People's Government and undertaken by the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area Management Committee, and the People's Government of Yuhua District. Representatives of six procurement projects signed contracts on site. Additionally, the Yuhua district government and Changsha-based enterprises reached cooperation agreements on four national import trade promotion innovation demonstration zone projects. Qiu Jixing, Standing Committee member of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and CPC Working Committee secretary of the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area Management Committee, and Kang Zhenlin, vice mayor of Changsha City and chairman of the Changsha Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce attended the promotion conference.
