About the Dong New Year Festival:

The Dong New Year Festival is the most important annual festival for the Dong ethnic minority. It is a significant celebration that focuses on the harvest season rather than the traditional Spring Festival celebrated by the Han Chinese.

The timing of the Dong New Year Festival can vary slightly among different regions where the Dong people reside. In some areas of China, the festival is celebrated from the end of October to the beginning of November. However, in other regions, it is celebrated from the end of November to the beginning of December.
