Hunan Provincial Overseas Chinese Research Center Inaugurated

日前，湖南省侨联党组书记、副主席孙民生和湖南师范大学党委书记蒋洪新共同为湖南省华侨华人研究中心揭牌。揭牌仪式上，湖南省侨联与湖南师范大学签署共建湖南省华侨华人研究中心合作协议。

A few days ago, Sun Minsheng, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Jiang Hongxin, secretary of the party committee of Hunan Normal University, jointly unveiled a plaque for the Hunan Provincial Overseas Chinese Research Center. At the ceremony, Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Hunan Normal University signed a cooperation agreement on the establishment of the center.

湖南省华侨华人研究中心由湖南省侨联和湖南师范大学共建，旨在通过资源整合、优势互补、共建共享，将全省华侨华人研究力量汇聚起来，深度开展湖南侨史、侨情、侨务理论研究，推动研究成果转化。

The center aimes at integrating resources, complementing each other's strengths, and, in accordance with the principle of join contribution and shard benefits, bringing together the whole province's Overseas Chinese research strengths to carry out in-depth research on the history and situation of Hunan's Overseas Chinese and theories concerning affairs of Hunan’s ovearseas Chinese, thus promoting the transformation of research results.
