The 62-day summer travel rush officially concluded on August 31. Changsha, an internet-famous city, saw a boom in the number of passengers during the travel rush. From July 1 to August 31, Changsha South Railway Station handled 11.4212 million passenger departures and 11.2512 passenger arrivals, with the total number hitting a record high of 22.6724, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%, according to statistics from the railway department.
