1月5日，湖南省侨联召开2024年工作务虚会。省侨联党组书记、副主席孙民生出席并讲话，省侨联党组成员、副主席李祖元介绍省侨联2024年工作设想，省侨联二级巡视员汤立及各市州侨联主要负责人参加会议。

On January 5th, the Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese held a theory-discussing meeting to discuss the work plan for 2024. Sun Minsheng, the Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Federation, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Li Zuyuan, a member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Federation, introduced the proposed work plan for 2024. Tang Li, a second-level inspector of the Federation, and the main responsible persons from various municipal and prefectural Overseas Chinese federations in Hunan also participated in the meeting.

会上，各市州侨联主要负责人简要介绍了2023年侨联工作取得的相关成果，并围绕2024年主要工作，就党建与侨建、法侨合作、招商引资、文化交流、为侨服务等工作展开交流，以新思路为全省侨联工作建言献策。省侨联机关各处室结合自身工作与各市州侨联进行初步对接。

At the meeting, the main leaders of overseas Chinese federations in various cities and prefectural Overseas Chinese federation briefly introduced the achievements of the Overseas Chinese Federation work in 2023. They then discussed the main tasks for 2024, including Party building and overseas Chinese affairs, cooperation with foreign Chinese communities, attracting investment, cultural exchange, and services for overseas Chinese. They provided suggestions and recommendations for the work of the Federation using new approaches. The departments of the Federation initiated preliminary coordination with the municipal and prefectural Overseas Chinese federations based on their respective work areas.
