Hunan NPC Deputies, Political Advisors Join in Deliberation, Discussions

The Hunan delegation at the second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held group discussions in Beijing on March 6, 2024. The deputies conveyed and studied an important speech made by President Xi Jinping during his participation in the deliberations with Jiangsu delegation at the 14th NPC second session. They also deliberated the report on the work of the government, and reviewed the report on the implementation of the 2023 plan for national economic and social development and on the 2024 draft plan, and the draft plan for national economic and social development in 2024, and the report on the execution of the central and local budgets for 2023 and on the draft central and local budgets for 2024, and the draft central and local budgets for 2024.

Shen Xiaoming, head of the Hunan delegation, and Mao Weiming and Li Dianxun, deputy heads of the delegation, joined the deliberations with deputies.

According to the arrangements of the national annual "Two Sessions", Ling Zhifeng, a member of the CPC Committee and director of the Political Department of the Ministry of Public Security, and Guo Tingting, a member of the CPC Leadership Group and vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce, were present to attentively hear diverse perspectives.

Comrades from the NPC Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee, the Budgetary Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee, the General Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Commerce attended.
