Chinese Sturgeons Move into Changsha Sea World

The Yangtze River Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences and the Changsha Sea World jointly held a Chinese sturgeon take-over ceremony on April 15. Six Chinese sturgeons from the institute were transferred into a pond in the Chinese sturgeon exhibition area of the Changsha Sea World. These Chinese sturgeons are sub-adult, being 1.4 to 1.5 meters long and weighing 15 to 20 kilograms. The Changsha Sea World carries out real-time monitoring to ensure their health and help them adapt to the new living environment.
