Renovation of Meixi Lake's Landmark Sculpture Underway

Work is currently underway to renovate a sculpture named "Changsha Star" at the west end of Jieqing Isle in Meixi Lake International New Town Phase Ⅰ, Changsha, according to the Meixi Lake Investment (Changsha) Co., Ltd. of Xiangjiang Group on April 17. The renovation project is expected to be completed within the year.

The sculpture is a landmark of Meixi Lake, with a height of 18 meters and a diameter of 30 meters. The sculpture features 5 five-pointed stars arranged in a circle. At night, the sculpture is illuminated by colorful lights, implying science and technology, radiance, unity, and endeavor, which aligns nicely with Meixi Lake International New Town's urban connotations of fashion, energy, science and technology, and innovation.
