中国佛系萌兽熊猫，竟是历史上凶猛的食铁兽？

The giant panda was actually known as a ferocious iron-eater long long time ago.

中国国宝大熊猫，主要栖息地在中国四川、陕西和甘肃的山区。

The giant panda, China's national treasure, mainly inhabits the mountainous regions of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu in China.

上古神话传说中，他们是华夏远古统领的坐骑，又名食铁兽。一种爱好吃铜铁的神兽。

In ancient myths and legends, they were the mounts of the ancient Chinese commander, known as the iron-eater --- a divine beast who loves to eat copper and iron.

早在中国上古奇书《山海经》中，熊猫被称为“熊猫”或“猫熊”，有黑白赤黄青五色。

As early as in the ancient Chinese book The Classic of Mountains and Seas, the panda was called "Panda" or "Cat Bear" and varied in five colors: black, white, red, yellow and cyan.

宋朝，熊猫的形象被广泛运用在文学和绘画中，被视为“吉祥之兽”。

During the Song Dynasty, the image of the panda appeared widely in works of literature and paintings, and the animal was regarded as a "beast of good fortune".

4月3日上午，旅韩大熊猫福宝返程中国，韩国民众雨中送别这位宇宙最强“外交官”。福宝与饲养员姜爷爷的跨国情缘，也感动了许多屏幕前的粉丝姨姨们。

On the morning of April 3, when Fu Bao, the first giant panda born in South Korea, returned to China, a lot of people in the coutry came to see off the universe's strongest "diplomat" in the rain. The cross-country relationship between Fu Bao and his keeper, Grandpa Jiang, has also touched the hearts of many fans in front of the screen.

看看在动物园里执着于啃竹子的它们，萌态十足。我相信，在未来可爱的“食铁兽”们，会继续在世界的各个角落里，茁壮成长，持续传递着爱与和平的信息。

Look at them in the zoo obsessed with gnawing on bamboo, how adorable! I believe  that in the future, these cute "iron-eaters" will deliver to more people all around the world the message of love and peace.
