Hong Kong Education Delegation Visits Hunan

A Hong Kong education delegation came to Hunan for exchanges from April 17 to 19, with the theme of "Deepening Hunan-Hong Kong-Macao Exchanges and Cooperation and Promoting Science and Education to Revitalize Hunan." Xiao Bailing, vice chairwoman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee and Chen Gang, chairman of the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee participated in related activities.

The event is a specific action of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee to thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions made during his inspection tours in Hunan and the spirit of a symposium on further energizing the central region in the new era and to further strengthen connectivity with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. 

The event was initiated by the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, and Hong Kong members of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee including Tsoi Wing-sing. Forty representatives of teachers and students from the TWGHs Tsoi Wing Sing Primary School and the Po Leung Kuk C. W. Chu College were invited to visit Hunan.

Changsha Lushan International Experimental Primary School and Chenzhou No.1 Middle School respectively signed agreements with Hong Kong's TWGHs Tsoi Wing Sing Primary School and Po Leung Kuk C. W. Chu College to establish sister school ties. The schools will further strengthen the exchange of visits between teachers and students, facilitate the sharing of educational resources, and jointly promote extensive educational exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Hong Kong. 

During their stay in Hunan, the delegation members also visited Yuelu Academy, Orange Isle, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall in Yuhua District, Hunan Museum, and other places.
