Xiangtan Opens Schools for Senior Citizens

In recent years, 17 schools for senior citizens have opened in Yuhu District, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, to enrich the cultural life of the "silver generation". More than 80 classes providing instructions on dance, physique, African drum, vocals, musical instruments, Peking Opera and opera performance, flower arrangement, video editing, and other skills, have attracted nearly 10,000 trainees. This have helped the elderly to improve the quality of their spiritual lives and achieve a sense of enjoyment in their old age.
