So Beautiful! Foreign Journalists promote Hunan

　　11月13日-19日，“一带一路”主流媒体聚焦锦绣潇湘主题采访中，来自印度尼西亚、阿联酋、泰国、老挝、缅甸等8个国家的16名记者探访长沙、常德、张家界、湘西。

　　During November 13-19, 16 journalists of the “Belt and Road” mainstream media from eight countries including Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar visited Changsha city, Changde city, Zhangjiajie National Park and Xiangxi Tujia & Miao Autonomous Prefecture for reporting Hunan.

　　Reporters are amazed by the night view of the ancient town of Fenghuang.

　　沿着陶渊明的笔迹，记者们信步于常德桃花源景区，在宛如仙境的山水中体悟田园生活的宁静与美好。“席地而坐随手捡起一片叶子，创作灵感就会油然而生。”来自菲律宾《每日论坛报》的记者查理赞叹道，看到这样的美景，他能猜想到为什么陶渊明能写出《桃花源记》这样经典的作品。

"It is quiet and beautiful here. When I sit down and pick up a leaf, my inspiration comes spontaneously," said Charlie, a journalist from the Daily Tribune in the Philippines. He said that such a beautiful surrounding might be the reason why Chinese famous poet Tao Yuanming could write such a classic work as "The Peach Colony" (《桃花源》 Taohuayuan).

　　他们在雨后赏尽氤氲蒸腾的“绝版”张家界，在《天门狐仙》《魅力湘西》演出中一窥湖南的民俗风情。“以前只知张家界风光秀丽，亲身体验过才发现，这里绚丽多姿的人文风情更引人入胜。”老挝国家电视台记者玛妮如是说。

They enjoyed the views of Zhangjiajie and the cultural performances named as Tianmen Fox Fairy and The Charming Xiangxi. "I was aware that Zhangjiajie has the beautiful scenery, but now I know that there are more ethnic and fascinating customs here," said Mani, a reporter of Lao National TV .

　　来到美丽的小镇凤凰，称赞声不绝于耳。“凤凰古城是我去过的所有中国城市里最美丽的小城，这里如诗如画，如梦如幻，在这里感觉心情特别舒畅，有种心旷神怡的感觉。”泰国国家电视台的记者纳塔蓬手中的镜头拍摄了大量的素材，他要将这美景推介给泰国人民。

"The ancient town of Fenghuang is one of the most beautiful places in China where I've been. It is a picturesque and dreamlike place, and I feel particularly comfortable, relaxed and happy here," said Nattapung, a reporter of Thailand TV. He shot a lot of footage for promoting Hunan's beauty in Thailand.

　　在交口称赞之余，记者们也在用他们的实际行动，以不同的态度和视角策划推广湖南的报道。

Besides these compliments, the reporters are reporting Hunan by their coverage on different perspectives.

　　菲律宾每日论坛报的记者查理被技艺精湛的湘绣所吸引。“我会用《湖南的老虎》为题来报道湘绣，将湘绣之美带给菲律宾的人们。”

Charlie was attracted by the art of Hunan embroidery (or Xiang embroidery). He said, "I will use the words Hunan Tiger to cover the story about Hunan Embroidery to Filipinos."

　　“常德玩水，张家界看山，湘西怀古。”柬埔寨《高棉日报》的记者代治刚说这些地方各有特色，将以重点篇幅呈现。印度尼西亚《罗盘报》的记者约翰纳斯表示，要以“张家界24小时”为主题介绍张家界的诱人景观。

"Changde's water, Zhangjiajie's mountains and Xiangxi's culture are typical symbols of Hunan province,"said Dai Zhigang (Chinese name), a reporter from Cambodian Khmer Daily. He said that every place of Hunan has its own characteristics. Johannes, a reporter from "Compass Newspaper" in Indonesia, said that Zhangjiajie's landscape should be introduced under the reports themed as "24 Hours of Zhangjiajie".

　　泰国Infoquest通讯社的记者参威则关注到了旅游对经济的带动作用。他说会从经济方面来报道，结合一带一路，当地政府如何寻找机遇做对外推介，如何用旅游助推当地经济发展等。

Csann Wei (sound),a reporter from Thailand Infoquest, concerns about the economic impact of Hunan's tourism. He will report how the local governments look for the opportunities to promote the tourism in foreign markets, and how to use tourism to boost local economy according the Belt and Road initiative.
